The Sherwood Forest Trail is a 7.4km loop which is popular for hikers, walkers and bird watching. The trail is classed as moderately challenging so might suit a family with older children. The site is dog friendly, mainly flat with gentle slopes and would also suit ‘all terrain’ pushchairs. The legendary home of Robin Hood, you will also get to see the famous landmark, the Major Oak.
